It’s blackberry time again, autumn is here, but I still have a foot in summer.
On Saturday night, I slept out in the garden, snug in my sleeping bag covered with a tarp to keep dry. It was almost full moon and I walked outside to my bed in the silvery light. For the first couple of sleeps, I left my glasses on and each time I opened my eyes, the stars were dizzying in their depths. In the morning the sun gradually reaches over the hedge and warms my head and shoulders. Gulls flying over, soft silvery grey on top and golden underneath, silently popping the air. So grateful for this time in nature.
Here is a link to one of my recent soundings in the garden. It’s a nice way to relax after your day or before going to sleep.
It’s been a great summer and I was so honoured recently to be shortlisted for the Network Ireland West Cork Business Woman of the Year Awards in the Business Innovation Category.
Now I’m looking forward to autumn and starting new projects. I have lots of ideas and plans in the pipeline that I will be sharing with you over the next few months. The last 6 months has been a time for reflecting and adapting to life in a pandemic. While we still have the pandemic I now feel much more confident navigating the future. The rules have changed but we can still find ways to connect and follow our joy!
If you would like to join me for my upcoming Sound Bath on the 18th September, you can find all the details here.
