This month, before I picked the card, I sat and meditated, and I asked for the perfect card for this month. I’m using my new deck, the Archangel Metatron self mastery oracle by Amanda Ellis, and the artwork is by Jane Delaford Taylor. The card that came up is ‘Clarity – Go Within’.

The picture is of somebody sitting cross legged, meditating. So when we take time out to meditate and to be still, we open up to receive. In this picture, we see the woman is just Being, and she’s receiving support. There’s the diamond white light coming in, and there’s blue representing the throat chakra and clear communication. She also has a lilac shawl around her shoulders.

Lilac brings balance when you’re feeling out of equilibrium. And it can bring that calm and balance because the red and blue colours it’s made up of, come from either end of the spectrum. This colour can support mind, body, and spirit. This card is perfect for this time of year as we’re moving into the depths of winter and the darkness. We are called to stop. We’re called to rest and to go within.

Recently, I participated in a beautiful online retreat with Jonita Dsouza, and my intention for the retreat was to receive clarity. And after the session ended, I was feeling calm and nourished. I spent some time sounding and journaling the cards I had picked. This card today feels like it’s building on these other cards and building on this theme of winter and taking time to be.

So I’d like to read a little bit from the book that comes with the oracle deck. It says; “So often we think of clarity as arriving at 1 defined moment in time. But clarity can come in waves when we quiet our bodies and minds and allow a moment to just be. It can last for hours, days, or months. It is the still small whisperings of our soul that we often ignore or don’t have time to properly hear.

A state of tranquility is needed where we can stop and allow our spiritual guides to connect with us, and it helps us to hear them and feel their love for us. To help with this, Archangel Metatron asks you to breathe in an aquamarine energy to bring balance to your emotional state and realign and strengthen you. Slowly and deeply, breathe in this blue ray to fill your entire body, and then breathe it out. Surround yourself with this aquamarine light and feel held, supported, and lifted out of your worries, concerns, and stress. Just allow them to dissolve.

Let go…”

And there’s one other bit; “Clarity cannot be found in hectic, frantic states of being. It is found by giving yourself permission to stop, breathe deeply, and centre yourself.”

So I think we have a very strong message just to allow ourselves that time to Be, to go within, at this time of year when it’s just natural for us to want to do that anyway.
