‘For a Creative Life ‘ 

Just before I picked this card, I was journaling about creativity.  This is something I place enormous importance on and then neglect it because I’m busy doing ‘serious’ stuff. 

This year I  have decided to create more space in my life for creativity as part of my self-care practice.  Thanks so much to Roisin @creative_kids_clon for starting up the adults ‘Creative Kids’ class and to Lucy @lucyhpearse for her online ‘Reclaim Your Creative Magic’ course.  I have discovered clay and lino cutting and am in love with the process of creating!

I’d like to share a poem I wrote a while back.  It’s about how our inner child suffers when we don’t allow ourselves time to be creative and to express ourselves as well as  the joy and freedom that can be ours when we allow ourselves to return to our natural creative state.

We are all naturally creative and have so many ways we can express it.  What is your favourite way of being creative?
