January 10th holds special significance for me. It marks the anniversary of my firstborn son Alan, as well as my Uncle Billy and my husband’s Uncle Shaun. 

This year is Alan’s 20th anniversary, and I want to honour his memory with a daily readingfrom my book, ‘Letting Go a Mother’s Healing Journey through Diaries, Poetry & Song’.

Today I opened the book at random and found ‘Being Marram’ which I’d like to share with you now.
