This month marks the 20th anniversary since I lost my firstborn, Alan. To honour his memory, every day this month I’m sharing snippets from my book Letting Go.
When my kids were small most of my writing was done early in the morning when I was still half asleep. I find this a good state to quiet the inner critic. Today’s poem ‘The morning channel’ is from a series of poems called ‘Dream Sequence’.
