Today I was drawn to Toni Carmine Salerno’s Angels, Gods and Goddesses deck, and the card that came through was:
God of the Underworld – “Something which no longer serves you is about to end.”
At first glance, this card might feel a little intense—it has a dark, powerful energy—but its message is actually a positive one: change is coming for the better.
The imagery speaks volumes: the third eye is lit, symbolising heightened intuition. The throat chakra is glowing too—it’s time to speak your truth. I heard the word “boundaries” come through strongly. You may be called to establish new boundaries or reinforce ones that have become blurred.
This card is deeply rooted in strength and presence. There’s no need for rushing or doing—it’s about embodying a grounded, empowered way of being.
There’s also a beautiful protective light around the head—offering both guidance and support.
The guidebook reminds us that this isn’t about physical death, but the death of old patterns, beliefs, or emotional habits that hold us back. In order to move forward into a brighter future, we must let go of what no longer serves us.
This card is a blessing, offering us the power to transform our lives. And with that transformation comes rebirth. One cannot exist without the other.
