This month marks the 20th anniversary since I lost my firstborn, Alan. To honour his memory, every day this month I’m sharing snippets from my book Letting Go – a mother’s healing journey through diaries, poetry & song.

Today in the diary, we were preparing for a service in the hospital chapel and my auntie Pat and uncle Mathew were trying to find an outfit small enough to fit Alan.

So much love and support from our family and friends.  It was amazing.  So grateful. 🙏🥰
