Letting Go: 31 Days of Love and Reflection

This month marks the 20th anniversary since I lost my firstborn, Alan. To honour his memory, every day this month I’m sharing snippets from my book Letting Go – a mother’s healing journey through diaries, poetry & song.

I’m on my way to Dublin so Col & I visited the graveyard yesterday afternoon. I brought the book and got Col to pick a page for today. 

I had just been saying how grateful I am to the writers group in Clonality for their support and friendship. I joined the group in 2014 when I just started writing the book and I didn’t know any writers. This group is another gift in my life because of Alan. 😍
