Dear friend,

A couple of weeks ago I attended a womens retreat day in west Cork called ‘Sile Rising’ organised by members of the Irish College of Sound Healing.  It was a beautiful day of connection and exploring feminine wisdom through the legends of Sile na Gig and the Cailleach of Beara. More on Celtic goddesses to follow in another blogpost!

In the afternoon there  was open floor dancing with Helen Bohan which was so joyful!  I sat down for a moment to rest and a poem sparked.  I thought I would share it with you here:

Sync the drum
in your tail bone
then feel
the vibrations
rise

Passing through the cells
like a cloud of rain
upside down
Fast and furious
jumping like hail
Explodes the solar plexus
flutters  the heart.

You become the beat as
it takes over.
Your feet tingle
You KNOW  what
life force is
joy
peace
pleasure and

the beat goes on
taking everything and
everyone with it.
We are drowned and
saved all at once

Move beyond that point
of release
No longer caring about
past or future
Just LIVE
each second
in the music

Just Go
Just MOVE
Just Move 

Just move….
