Welcome to Deepak Chopra’s 21 Days of Abundance Meditation Journey
I first came across Deepak Chopra when I was navigating the loss of my first born son Alan. I find great solace in books and went into Waterstones in Cork, intending to see if they had a section on grief.
I walked through the door, turned right went to the big bookshelf on the wall, reached out, and picked a book from the second shelf from the bottom. I have no idea why I did that. The book in my hand was Synchrodestiny by Deepak Chopra. I had never heard of him before, but I knew instantly it was the book I had come for so I bought it and left. I never found out if they had a grief section.
That moment stayed with me. It was one of those experiences that reminds you there’s something bigger at play which is what the book is about and that synchronicity plays a part in letting us know we are on the path.
Recently, my friend Sara set up a WhatsApp group for Deepak Chopra’s 21 Days of Abundance meditation series. I joined, even though I often struggle to be consistent with daily practices. I didn’t do every exercise perfectly, and I sometimes caught up by doing two in one day. I did complete the 21 day journey and found it was an amazing experience.
As part of the journey, there’s a prompt to start your own group. At first, I resisted. The way it was phrased felt a bit pushy and a bit like chain mail. I didn’t want to do something just because I was “supposed” to. But I sat with it, and eventually, I felt a clear “yes” when I realised I could change that bit to something more like an invitation.
Leading my own group through the 21 days became one of the highlights of the abundance journey. I learned that abundance isn’t just about receiving—it’s about flow. About giving, receiving, and trusting that it moves through us all.
By the end of the series, I knew I wanted to do it again. Each time you go through it, you touch a new layer of yourself. I also wanted everything in one place—the meditations, the affirmations, the mantras, the tasks—so I could dip in and out, and to share it with others too.
That’s how this blog series came to be. I hope you enjoy it!
